Tracing the experiences and practices of Palestinians, this paper reveals the centrality of the Algerian Revolution to the guerilla strategies and knowledge production of Palestinian and Arab liberation movements. Hamzah Baig is a Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellow at UCSB and received his PhD in History from Yale University in 2023. Bridging Middle East and African history, his dissertation project explores questions of revolutionary movement building, Afro-Asian solidarity, settler colonialism, and postcolonial state formation through the Algerian Revolution and its global reverberations.
